久しぶりに英語の記事を読んだけど、英語の学習が必要だと強く感じた。やるべき事は、

  • 技術ドメイン知識
  • 句動詞（特に受動態のとき）を見直したい
  • 専門用語ではないが頻出語と訳語の対応付け

たとえば、

The data layer manages the physical storage and retrieval of data
The business layer maintains business rules and logic
The presentation layer houses the user interface and related presentation code.

の動詞部分は日本語でどう訳されるのかがわからない。英語単独での運用力を高めるべきか。勝手翻訳をやりたいなら日本語との行き来にも重点を置くべきだがそんな余裕はない。いくつかのサイトのHTMLを解析して必須表現をリサーチするツールをさくっと作れるようになりたいな。
